Yeah, the ride’s a little stiff, but that’s to be expected with a spacer and aal. I am happy with the look and ride compared to stock though, and I haven’t had any problems with it thus far

Hey ... sorry i havent really been on TW as much lately. My current set up is a 3" spacer lift up front (ebay) and it came with a rear aal. 15 rims wrapped in 30x9.5 tires. Havent had any issues and love the look and feel of my 5lugger. Its a daily driver. Hope that helps.

I just purchased a 3" readylift for my 5 lug. I want to get pro comp wheels either 15" or 16", and I want to run 31inch tires, can anyone tell me what offset/backspace i should use for that. I DONT want to use spacers. Thanks!!

Thanks for all the help on this thread. We just updated my son's 2007 2wd Taco with 16 inch Dick Cepek Wheels and 235 70 16R Cooper Tires. Wider stance without adding a lift. This is the largest setup we could put under the taco without any other modifications. The wheels have great backspacing so no spacers were used as they cleared the calipers but we did have to get a spline lug kit due to the spacing of the openings on the rims for the lugs.
Any other recommendations to make his Taco look better would be appreciated. Here are the after and before photos of the Taco.

So today I picked up my new ( to me anyways) 2008 single cab 4 cylinder. It has aftermarket 17 in wheels. I will just keep what it has to save money. The tires on it are 235/ 55/ 17s. I’m thinking about getting 235/75/17s. It is stock height and I do not plan on raising it. It has plenty of clearance with the current tires on it now. Can anyone confirm that I should be good to go with the tire size I am planning on buying ? PS. I just entered this info on the tire calculator page, I didn’t realize that those tires are a lot taller. I am not to familiar with tire sizes, obviously. If those won’t work, can someone recommend a common tire size that’s still taller than the ones that are on it now ? And thanks in advance.
