My coworker has a 2012 Tacoma and decided not to go with a lift and just get bigger tires. She doesn't want to rub so I'm here finding out for her.

What's is the biggest she can go without any rubbing and that are beefy looking? She's got the TSS T-Force wheels. Not sure if that year is 17" or 16".

I've got same wheels in black with 285/70/17 and rub. I see a lot of people on the 3rd gen say 265/70/17 is the biggest. Any info would be great.

    If they're 17's , 265/70/17 or 255/75/17

.45" taller, .39" skinnier, so less than a quarter inch more ground clearance. Totes worth it.

True that. I already ran them without a lift. But it does require taking a cutoff/sledgehammer to the cab mount and firewall.
