I have the 5100's in the front and was eyeballing the ome susp kit. How do the ome's shocks compare with the billies. If i were to buy that kit would anyone be interested in the ome shocks? Or should i just go another route for lift?

    wat?
OME shocks are better suited for the OME coils. if you were going for the 3" of lift, i'd get the OME coils and shocks, then sell the 5100s. you wont have a hard time selling those either

Michelin 265/75/16 MS2's, Grillcraft MX series/TOYOTA badging. FJ/SE TRD Anthracite gray wheels. Katzkin leather/heated seats.
I just had the Eibach coils and 5100's installed and set @ zero. Also Michelin MS 2's > 265/75/16's added to the truck. (a set of tires I will probably get 65000 miles out of)
I am very happy with this set up and would not trade it out.

NO shakes, rattles or rolls or VIBS!

    Alignment is dialed in.

I have ridden in trucks with the 885/5100 combo, and the 885/N140S combo, and the OME shocks ride a little better with the OME springs. The 5100's dont give a bad ride, but the dampening of the OME shocks is more suited to their springs.

thanks for the replies guys. i already have the billies up front set @ 1.75 and love the ride but im looking at going with the ome coils up front and unsure of what i want in the rear. passed on a great deal last night for a complete ome kit and will be kicking myself for a few days i just want to make the right decision in the long run.

what about the difference from stock to ome? Are OME's firmer or softer? Do they absorb more of the little stuff?

They are more firm than stock. BUT, The stock shock can over heat, and fade VERY quickly. I havent been able to over heat the OME's.
