I have the 5100s set at 1.75 on stock coils. The ride quality is awsome. Much better than stock. 1 inch block in the rear and set me with a tiny rake. I am also running 285/65r18 with only having to trim my air dam.

Here is a picture of the 5100s set at .85 setting, second notch...never go to the highest notch. With the 887 coils on the .85 setting will get you close to 3" of lift. Set at the 0 setting with 887 coils will maybe get you 1/2 inch. If you got 888 coils with 0 setting, it would be roughly a 2.5" lift.

So with the 5100 and OME coils up front, did you guys have to upgrade your UCAs? The Lowrangeoffroad kit doesn't come with UCAs so just wondering if it's needed or not.

hey guys I'm looking at just a minor lift for my '16 tacoma- possibly doing 5100s in the front at mid setting, with stock coils, and then an AAL in the rear to maintain that stock-looking rake.

If I go with 5100's in the front do i have to match them with 5100s in the rear as well? basically just looking to do 1-2" lift all around.

It varies by truck, but most likely not, as long as you stay under 2.5" of lift. The OME coils are different between 2nd and 3rd gens, so I can't really advise you which ones you need. For me, I had 5100s and 885s up front with stock UCAs and was fine. If you haven't already, check out @HeadStrong Off-Road. Marie is amazing and very knowledgeable. She'd be able to answer any questions you may have.

You don't HAVE to, but it's recommended. Otherwise you risk overextending the rear shock.
