So I've been reading that some have had driveline vibrations at 1.75. Some of that I read on Toyota Nation. I just want to be assured if possible that at 1.75 I will not have any issues?

i never did, plus there's a new tsb out for a somewhat fix of a vibration between 15-30 mph or something like that. i know have mine set to 2.5" and nothing drastic, ill probably try and get the tsb done anyhow

Unfortunately you already answered your own question; vibes are definitely possible, even at 1.75.

I've been reading up on different forums and it seems to me that it's not necessarily in the front. I've read where several have went to a one piece drive shaft that fixed the issue.

Has anyone who has the bilsteins in the front set to 1.75" done the differential drop? Is it neccessary? It seems fairly cheap ($30)... Compared to harming the CV.

Alright got mine on at 1.75 and the rear tsb. Ride is great, about the same as stock. Just less body roll.

Did you have any drive line vibes or any aligement issues....and when you say TSB you had the dealer change the rear springs or just AAL.

Dealer installed what basically is an aal, gave about 3/4" lift in the rear.

As for the vibrations, I'm trying to figure that out. Sometimes I think I'm feeling something but i'm not sure. It's very minor if it is.

    No alignment issues.

It's strange that before the lift I had a wandering type feeling in the steering, now that's gone and drives better. Makes me wonder if my alignment was out before. :notsure:

Bottom line is the steering feels better but I am a bit worried about this minor possible vibration.

I just ordered 4 new 5100s and 1" lift shackles for the rear. When I get the install done next week what setting on front billys should i use to get a nice level ride.

The rear is still higher what did you add to the rear. From what I have been reading front bil's set 1.75 would give you a leveled appearence. So you have had too add something.

I had the same thoughts. Mine has the rear tsb and still looks a touch nose high, on the passenger side anyway, due to the lean.

I have the ICON St 1 setup(now a stage 2 I suppose...) and added the ICON 3 leaf AAL to the rear, removed the over load spring and am VERY happy with that ride. It was in fact crap before. I dont see why you would have the same result, maybe need extended travel Bilsteins with that though. Brake lines are fine stock.
My '05 has 129,000 miles on it too. Impressive fix with the AAL alone.
Gave me about 1.5" i believe, and leveled it out well to the 2.5"in front. D
