Ordered a set (front struts/rear shocks) of 5100s for my 2021 TRD Off Road Taco. Gonna put 265/75R16s on my stock wheels. Should the front struts be set at 0 or 1" of lift. I am not lifting the rear end.

Will raising the front 1" throw off my TSS sensor?

I believe 265/75/16 will fit without issue even on the stock height and suspension

Put it on the 4th setting and do a 1 or a 1.5 block. It will still have a slight rake and is the perfect stance for the 265s. Enjoy it.

I have 5100s in front and rear. Fronts set at 5th notch, rears are extended with HeadStrong aal for 1.5” in the rear. With my bed rack and rtt and gear, I’m still at 1” of rake. The 3rd gen doesn’t visually look as high on the front as the 2nd gen did on the 5th notch. Running 265/70/17 for now.

Third notch (1.1”) with 265/70/17 (same overall height as 265/75/16).
Rides great and TSS works as advertised.

I just pulled the trigger on the exact same lift. How are you liking it thus far? Did you do the ECGS bushing? I held off to see if I even get the vibration afterwards

I have 265/75r16. 0 issues at stock ride height. Need to upgrade shocks cause oem Hitachi ride like crap, too stiff. I'll probably move the bilstiens up slightly to take out some of the rake when I do since I have bags in the rear to keep from sagging when loaded.

You’ll be happy. Rides almost like stock, but stiffer in a good way. Didn’t do the bushing, didn’t feel the need to. No issues with vibes so far but only 1000 miles on the setup.

Installed 5100s front and back. Front at 4th notch (1.55) Two days later after a few speed bumps Im getting a intermittent clunky tapping sound at 2 to 10 mph. Truck only is 15000 miles on it so everything is fairly new. No noise at higher speeds. No vibration or feel in cab... only sounds

Any ideas or experience with this?

No noises on my truck. Everything tightened?

Just had shop that installed recheck everything. everything was good but they did say on rare occasions the front body mount on these trucks can’t go bad or there’s a slight chance one of the pinch weld has broke in the front end having nothing to do with the lift.

Opinions on the front diff drop? Really even necessary on a 1.55” lift?
