I'm new to this forum. I've read countless forum threads with different combinations of questions and whatnot, but haven't been able to answer my own question... so I apologize if we're beating a dead horse here.

I have a 2005 Tacoma Prerunner TRD Sport. The front struts have a 2.5in spacer (which was there when I bought the truck). My leaf springs had a recall on them so I took it down and had them replaced for free. Now my back end sags about 1.5 inches. My rear shocks are blown and I'm working on replacing them, but I don't want to do that until I've lifted the rear to be either level or have a .5 - 1in rake because in the future I'd like to remove the spacer and add the Bilstein 5100 front struts to get the 3in front lift. I'm looking to install an AAL (any suggestions for 2-2.5in lift) to do this.

So my question is this. Do the Bilstein 5100 rear shocks add any lift at all? If they do, will I need a smaller AAL lift? If they don't, which Bilstein 5100 shocks do I need to compensate for the rear lift?

    Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I've already had the front done at a shop... this was before I realized there was a spacer. So as of now I can't yet afford to also replace the front. So for now I've got to stick with the rear.

My next question is since I'm lifting the rear about 2 inches, will I need a longer shock? I'm looking and all I can find in the 5100 is for a 0-1in lift
