I just recently put a rough country 2 inch leveling kit in my 2008 tacoma and there is a terrible sweaking coming from the front end and the dealer wont touch it. i am thinking of buyin the 5100's if i purchased those could i mount those and remove the leveling kit and still have my 2 inches??? or do i put those in and keep the leveling kit. anyone else have a sweaking noise?

ya you can get 2" out of the 5100's take the spacers out and put in 5100's you will like the quiet and the softer ride

I got the 5100's on the front. They are pretty nice but I also got the OME 2 inch springs. Really hard ride but very nice :)

You can set the 5100's in the front to either 1.75" or 2.5", your choice.

Are those preset heights? 0", 1.75" and 2.5" Or can you set them at like say 1" to level out the front with stock height rear?

They are indeed preset heights. You can also set them to 0.85".

5100's are good for adjusting your ride height as you wish or need up to 2.5 inches with the front shocks. The front shocks have settings of 0", .85", 1.75" or 2.5" as mentioned. Designed for adjusting front end height with added weight such as adding a a front bumper and winch, etc., these shocks seem to get you close enough to level without any added weight at the 1.75" setting. The need to upgrade to a aftermarket UCA seems to be the best route if you go with the 2.5" setting without a front end weight addition. But this is a debate with some on this forum. ;)

It should also be mentioned that the 5100's do not lift the rear at all, only the front.
