    pinstripes. lots of pinstripes.
I've searched all over and haven't found any decent pictures. Is anyone running the overpriced but slick-looking Bilstein reservoir mount for their 5160s? All I've seen is reservoirs mounted to the frame.

I've acknowledged they're overpriced. Maybe a better question would be - is anyone running a piggyback reservoir instead of mounting to the frame?

I’ve got my reservoirs mounted onto my frame. I think that looks cooler especially with the hose looped upwards.

Bumping an old thread, is it possible to piggyback the 5160 reservoir to the shock body instead of having to mount it to the frame? I've heard you can't on tacomas but would like to know for sure.

Nope. Got the Bilstein reservoir clamps and tried it because I couldn't find a good answer. The reservoir hits the cup that the shock is mounted to when it's rotated to be in line with the truck's long axis. You might be able to get it mounted outboard but that decreases clearance between the reservoir and tire, but I didn't want to risk that.
