Ride is great on the front with 6112. If your rear springs are saggy and you bottom out occasionally then you will need to upgrade your springs to really push 6112 offroad. I love the way the car drives now on the middle setting. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a lift, and as cliche as it sounds, it drives like stock when your cruising on smooth road. Every other situation is even better then before. The ride is not overly stiff or jarring in anyway provably due to the control gained by the massive shock.

So the #5 setting is really more like over 3in of lift? would mean if I want around 2.5in of lift to go with #4?

I have a 2wd so if your 4wd your results will vary. I got 2.25 left front and 2.5 right front. This was on the third setting which should be less than 2 inches. In general i would say up to half an inch higher than the chart says. Im not sure if the effect is consistently .5 more it may be more true to the chart if using the lower perches and exaggerated even more on higher ones. I dont know.

There is no zero lift setting. They will keep making 5100

However, most men will take a free inch gladly. It will only enhance the looks and performance unless your trying to run nastruck. The 5100 would be a hefty sacrifice just bc of the lift in my opinion.

Yes of course, agreed on all points, unless you're already running a 4" spindle lift, you know?

Yeah, you're on point... Was referencing my buddy's set up with the 700lb coils being necessary to not run the sway bar. My fault for not being clear. Preciate the clarification.

Also, note that he added uniball upper arms and 1"wheel spacers to widen his stance and says it made the truck more stable.

was gonna pull the trigger on some 6112s but now Im considering 5100s with OME 884s, I only want to lift 2 inches in the front and leave rear stock.

Still would rather have an inch of lift and a lot larger shock

I have the 5100/884 setup. You will be nose high without rear lift.

6112s are a little pricey, and from what I hear the 884s with 5100s is a good set up and cheaper

Since these are 60mm does that mean they'll perform better than other companies 2.0 (2 inch) coilovers?
