If you could find a 15" spring that could be the golden egg your looking for? Kind of like finding a 275/75/16 AT tire? Honestly the ride on 3rd setting at least is cush! The 5100's had an option for a 1" longer spring. Eibach 620 and it worked great BUT the 5100 shock was a bit longer than stock. Then again so is the 6112? Blaze that trail. See post #93 on page 5 on this thread for my write up on the subject.

Finally installed. Went 4th notch and I am sitting at 23.5" front driver and passenger and 24" in the rear with 5160 and an add-a-leaf.

Guys, I hate to ask but I'm days into reading TacomaWorld and I can't seem to determine what tire and wheel combo to buy when running Bilstein 6112 and a SPC UCA. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I'm trying to avoid any trimming. What is the ideal tire and wheel size assuming the 2.5" lift position on the Bilstein 6112? 33s are great but I'm ok going slightly smaller to avoid cutting into my truck. I think guys are going to 3" of lift to get the 33s to fit with no trimming on Gen 3s. My truck is a Gen2 double cab.

If you don’t wanna cut metal or let alone trim plastic then get 265s.

I have 2” lift with 6112s and didn’t rub with 255s skinnies but with a cmc with slight trimming on plastic and a bit of fender, 285 now with a cmc and more plastic trimming. I added a 1.25mm spacer and had to redo my cmc and do my pinch welds. You gotta pay to play if you don’t want to stick with 265s.

Seen down below for pics of the process and headache lolE1208813-7DFD-4EE4-81B8-BAAEEF571FAB.jpg

    For the 255s I had 16x7.5 +15os trd fj wheels and currently running 16x8 0os te37 with 1.25 spacer.

For 3rd gen owners, has anyone gotten less lift than advertised by the chart from bilstein? I have mine set at 5/4 and I'm barely seeing an inch of lift after settling.

I'm on stock wheels with P265/70R16 right now. I haven't selected a new wheel yet. I'm favoring the SCS SR8 in gun metal on my silver taco. Unfortunately, only the 18" wheel is in stock so that's not what I'm going for.

Anyone looking for 3rd gen 6112 in Canada I just scored a set from Essex Distribution / bilsteincanada.com

Paired them with the 5160’s and they had a 10% off sale over the weekend.

I believe they have one set left if your from Canada and looking might be worth giving them a call.

Anybody running the 700# 14" springs with 6112s? I have mine set at 5/5 and it's way over lifted, so I'm going to have them lowered down. Just trying to get some good estimates as to which clip setting I should go to. For wieght up front I've got an ARB and a 9k winch and it doesn't even faze the 700# springs! No sag at all after running them for a solid 10k miles. Thanks for any input guys!

Pics? Just curious how much lift you got. Most people went 4 setting.
