get heavier coils 650, or 700 even if not recommended by bilstein. People have been doing it though. You have 2nd gen 6112 or 3rd gen 6112s?

depends if you wanna swap the whole system. If you got the funds go for it. Not sure how you use your truck. However I would get a 700lb spring with 180lb up front.
    Good luck n

Why did you decide to use a driver side spacer rather than a 5/4 clip setting?

Bilstein has a heavier option out there 53-291387 is for the 6112 I have 3rd gen for mine! I tend to have fun with her time to time for sure! I am by all means not harsh but she does have her work cut out for her time to time!

Rockelfelluh I decided on the driver side 1/4" spacer to even out the preloads rather then put more on just one side than the other. It worked out perfectly actually. The Taco lean spacer as some call it just sits below the top hat. I am perfectly even at 1.5" both sides. It rides beautifully I have 0 complaints at all with this and No sway bar either.

Just installed my 6112’s with 1/4” DS spacer and SPC UCA’s on the 4th notch 2nd gen DCSB 4x4

Drive around the block after install and retorqued. Both hub to fender measurements are at 23 1/2”.

I honestly do not like them sitting that high. From what I’m reading is that my numbers are higher than average at my setting? Of course I forgot to take before measurements. Was expecting a 2”~ and it’s looking more like 3? I think stock OR’s come at 20-21”? Can someone confirm? Hopefully it settles. Contemplating yanking them back out and readjusting to 2nd or 3rd notch before I do any damage to the CV’s.

I saw 1/4"-1/2" settling after 24 hours. On 3rd gen shocks so your mileage may vary.

yeah, I’m hoping it settles to 23” or less. We’ll see. Just making sure 23 1/2” wasn’t abnormal.

They settle quite bit. Ride around and over some good bumps and measure again.

I finally had time to install everything this past weekend. I set both front 6112s at the 5th level with a spacer on the drivers side. The rear setup is 5160s with Icon progressive AAL.

I was a bit anxious that the ride would be too stiff with that much preload and an AAL. Now that I've put a few hundred miles on the truck since the install, I love it. I was very surprised at how much less the truck nose dives when on the brakes and how much more planted it is while cornering. I would describe the ride difference as comparing an old clapped out Cadillac to a new BMW as far as factory OR suspension vs my new setup. If anyone is on the fence about getting these, do it, you'll love them.

Love my 6112! Same as you, i noticed everything on mine and I wore out my stock OR suspension to about 35-40k miles. I beat them hard. I replaced my rear shocks at 50ishk miles with 5160s and i havent done the icon yet, that will be in a few weeks. I am daily driving with no swaybar either and these 6112s handle it great. I love the fact I can now take a bump without the truck wanting to bottom out lol

It's firm but smooth, smoother than stock SR5 suspension.

TRD Pro Center Caps. Bought them from my local dealership. They go right on the stock wheels like the factory ones!

Hope all is well and the Holidays where good.
How much weight are we talking in the back?

With no weight in the back, in the dirt. Would you still use 5160's are still prefer the 8100's?

200lbs in bed, 8100s or any brand equivalent to it if you like driving moderately fast and not feeling like your rear ended is gonna explode. 5160s will do its job, but it’s not comfy to me.
