Put a few hundred miles on them, 40+ off road.
    Don't think I'll change a thing.
    Rides and handles great.

What seems to be the general consensus on adding a very conservative spacer(s) paired with the 6112/5160's to add just a bit more height?

Perhaps somewhere around a 1/2" spacer on front for an additional inch. What does that come to with 6112's on max, 3" to 3.5" total maybe in the front?

What about a 1" block in the rear paired with the 5160's and an OME full pack? I believe their pack yields about 2.75" but would be nice to keep the rear a bit higher than front.

JBA UCA's would be installed as well.

    Honest thoughts? Experience?

    TIA

hey man, that’s what i’ve been thinking of doing. the 6112s definitely settled and i want to gain that 1inch back. i think i’ll be ordering the 1/2 spacer soon for both sides hoping to gain some lift. let me know what you do.

    1. The spacer in the front is generally used for the 2nd gen for the spacer lean, the 3rd gen is set with offset notch settings like 5 on the driver side and 4 on the passenger side.
    2. On your 3rd gen you wouldn't need a spacer in the front.,
    3. Your 3rd Gen is already 1 inch higher than a 2nd gen from the factory so at the max, it would give you another 2 more inches.
    4. I have the wheelers 1/2 spacer block for the driverside lean in the rear for years with my OME DAKARs. I honestly do not know why there are not a lot of people that do this. I can personally recommend it. 5. I have had JBA's for the past 3 1/2 years.......I love them.

I don’t think we’re on the same page with the front. The spacer would be to boost the lift in general, not just for the taco lean. It would be a 1/2” spacer on both fronts with the 6112’s on 6/5 notch.

Just be aware of your CV angles if you plan on doing that. Do you also have the ECGS Bushing in?

i think i’ll be doing that, 1/2 on both sides. the 6112s settled and i don’t think adding the spacer will be a huge problem….

I'm in a 2nd gen, I did 1/4" spacers on each side and put the clips one notch down from the top, 4th notch on each side.
I think you should do it, 1/2" spacers or go to bigger springs.
Sounds like you want a lot of lift.

Access cab here. Anyone have the SSO slimline hybrid bumper? I expect one in a few weeks. The one that just replaces the front valance. I have my 6112's set to 3/4 notch with a 1/2" spacer on both sides. Had some issues getting lift for some reason on that set up with just a 1/4" spacer so bumped it up a bit. Anyway, I ended up with around 2" of lift but it has settled. Curious as to how much I should expect it to drop with the new bumper. SSO says it only weighs 40lbs but Im trying to decide if I should bump up my springs to 650#. Not really interested in bumping up the preload since I can't go more than another notch anyway. Im probably overthinking it because I do that...

Anyone got specs on the 6112. Looking to get numbers for the collapse and extended to see if it's worth upgrading to kings 2.5 extended shocks.

Check shocksurplus.com I ordered my 6112 assembled from them. I did the regular spring though. I'm sure they will work with you. Build a cart and then email a snapshot of it to them with and questions. They were very helpful
