I got mine installed today. I asked for level and came out with this. Truth be told I came into the shop on an empty tank and got home with a full tank. They put me on 6/5 (older version). Im 23" center hub to fender up front and 22" hub to fender in back.

Should I go with 5/4 or 4/3 to level it out? Ugh, this looks funny to me. = (

how come people stagger the clips? Are they using charts from aftermarket companies?

I have a 2nd gen and used the most recent instructions directly from Bilsteins website and it didn’t say to stagger them

I know what taco lean is but it doesn’t bother me. Used to run 5100/887x with a 1/4” driver spacer
Other vehicles have the gas tank on the opposite side to counter balance. Taco is the first I’ve seen with all the weight on one side

I thought about that. But I Just bought new 265/70/17's and those 4 runner wheels (I had 285/75/16 on my old tacoma before, too heavy, too much chop to work, no thank you) and these kind of look small up front now. lol. So Im more tempted to lower it down some than go up more.

The 2nd Gen instructions do not recommend a stagger, the 3rd Gen instructions do.

I dont really know other than its reported that tacomas lean down on the driver side. I thought my driver side was higher driving down the highway on the way home. I got home and measured ground to fender lip and the passenger side was 1/8th higher! They should have just given us an spinning adjustment perch.

Drop the front down to level , it will ride better. You wont be topping the shocks out on all the high spots in the road.

Thank you. Will it be level or factory rake looking?

If you are at 23” on 6/5 and you want it level then go down 2 clips to 4/3 to lower it 1”

You can double check by measuring ground to fender front and rear. If they are different by the same amount as your hub to fender measurements then you have your answer. IIRC stock measurements hub to fender are 22” rear and 21” front.

Thank you so very much. My rear is 22" and my fronts are 23". I want it 22/22. So your advice at 4/3 is spot on. Thank you!!! I wish I could easily do this at home. Sucks not having spinner adjustments.

I am at 5/4 in for me it's perfect. I have considered removing the sway bar but for pavement I'm not sure that's a good idea. I did relocate it though to allow clearance from the UCA to the shock body. I do recommend that.

Do you have a pic of your stance?

Now Im wondering if I should keep the 2" front lift and just get 1" added to the rear. Or if I should just lower the front down some. I feel my 265/70/17's kinda look small now with the 2" front.

Here's a pic but it's on an incline in my driveway so the front end is lower than it actually is on level. I do have a slight rake due to the fact that I tow a small trailer. Hope that helps. If you need another and I'm out and about I can get you a flat ground one.
I an running Deaver 402 w/. 5160 in the rear.

265/70-17 SL is my tire. I don't need an E rated tire for what I'm doing. Especially in the sand. I don't have to air down nearly as much as I would with an E rated tire. As far as how they look that's really up to the individual. For me it works. If it starts not working I will make changes.
