I had mine installed yesterday with the new 11 clip settings. Sort of bizarre results but I am going to let everything settle before I make any adjustments. Details below.

    • TRD Offroad DLCB 4x4
    • Added Weight in rear = ARE Shell, Bed Mat, Bed Stiffeners
    • Added other weight: Prinsu Cab rack, Steel sliders
    • 6112 on 10/8 (1.7") circlips settings with 600# springs
    • RXT Option 2 leaf pack on rear with 5160s
Center hub to wheel well measurements:
    • Front Before = 20.5 on driver, 20.75 on passenger
    • Front After = 22" on both sides
    • Rear Before = 21"
    • Rear After = 24”
    • Rake Before = 0.5"
    • Rake after = 2"
    Net change from stock:
    • Front +1" (was expecting ~1.5" to 1.7")
    • Rear +2" (was expecting ~1.75")
    • rake +1"
    Net change from pre-install:
    • Front 1.5"
    • Rear 3"
    • Rake +2.5"
I am a bit stupified. Got more then expected on rear, got less on front. Pics below. I had half a mind to pull the 6112s and go to 650# spring or up to 11/9 setting but have decided to let everything settle for 6-12 months and see where it lands, then re-evaluate.

If anyone has any ideas why I netted only 1" from stock on front, please chime in. I have some added weight but not that much. I called B on phone beforehand and they recommended the 600# springs and that is where me and my mechanic both landed as well. My added weight shouldn't translate to losing 0.7" from what is advertised. I feel like I am missing something. Measuring wrong but how hard is it? Center of hub to wheel well. I even have older "ground to wheel well" measurements from stock and my net changes come out the same.

Despite the odd results, I shall remeasure next week when I load up for a camping trip. And the thing rides like it is on air cushions.

PS - I am getting 265/75/16 tires on Friday to fill the wheel wells out a little bit more and add another 0.5" of clearance all around. Did not want to go bigger due to weight concerns.

Thanks! Aren't the front end results odd though? You lost 0.5" with steel skids and steel rock sliders. I lost 0.7" with aluminum skids and steel sliders. Get tires Friday, Alignment Tuesday. Considering asking my mechanic to put in the 650# springs ore alignment.

Another part of me says, what difference is 0.5" up front with skid plates and the type of trails I intend to do. The rear has more clearance.

Exactly I agree. I think your good. Give it a chance see how you like it. Keep the 650 coils if you ever decide to change anything front bumper , Winch. Steel sliders I lost lift installed 650lb coils brought me right back to 2” of lift with weight

FYI to close the loop here. I had the 650# springs put on this morning. I ended up 1" higher than with the 600# springs. No idea why. Did not change circlip settings, left them at 10/8. I now have a 1" rake which is what I was aiming for and the F/R look much better proportionally. Last night my neighbor said my truck sat like a stink bug with its ass up in the air 2".

Not suggesting my results are typical. My mechanic and I cannot explain the 1" different between the 600 and 650# springs.

I believe they are 600lbs and running a 265/75/16 they are both set on the last 6th notch.

I have an ARE topper shell and I did Icon RXT leaf pack option 2 and ended up with 2" of lift in back. Hub to wheel well measurement is 24". Again, this with 200+ pounds in bed. Totally surprised by the outcome I was expecting the 1.75 or lower. Just about everyone says they really don't budge. I rarely load up with more then 150 to 200 pounds of gear. Good option for you to look into if you think the front is too high.

For anyone who has lowered their notches from 6/5 to something lower, did you notice any ride improvements? Also is it a novice level DIY job or something that I should let a professional do? Thanks!

Easy job without spring compressor and basic hand tools. Here is my lame video on how to do it. It does ride better with more down travel available at ride height.

Scanned back a bit and didn't see anything, but are the factory 6112 600lb springs 3'' i.d. (Same size the big brand 2.5 coilovers use) ?

Bilstein 6112's 5th clip 1/4" spacer driver's side. Icon tubular UCA's with Delta joint, wheelers superbumps, ECGS bushing. Allpro standard leaf packs, 5160's, U bolt flip kit with wheelers super bump's, extended stainless steel brake lines, carrier bearing drop. Icon rebounds 17" with Nitto terra grappler G2's 285/70/17's.
Looks good. Check your CV boots to make sure the rubber fins aren't rubbing against each other. If they are you'll see a shiny line on the fins. Especially the driver's side inner boot. Mine did and I don't think I was quite that high.

Finally got the 6112 / 5160's on. New wheels and tires to go along with it. I opted for a the 650lbs springs since I already have a skid package and sliders and likely a front bumper at some point. The rear lift is mostly due to the All-pro expo. leaf pack, but she sure looks good.

Finally did the 6112s on 5/6, JBA UCAs, and 5160s with RXTs on option 2. Don't know why I waited 10 months.
