Thanks, I figured as much since the bushing is toyota specific but figured it didn't hurt to ask.

    I'd ask.
    Mine did.
I've had places buy a special tool when they thought they would use it again.

Need some outside input. Had 6112s on 6/5 setting installed by a local shop w spc ucas. Just got 285/75/16 ko2s put on. Noticed that the tires and ucas barley have any space in between. I'm on stock off-road wheels, would I need new wheels with a - offset or spacers to help prevent them from rubbing or should I take it to an alignment shop and see if they can adjust lowers to gain max + caster. Included pics to give an idea. 20221203_160324.jpg 20221203_160309.jpg

lower offset or wheel spacers. I think stock is +30. Around 0 would be a lot further pushed out.

Yo, wondering if anyone has opinions on bilstein coils v eibach coils..?

Im stepping up from 600lb springs to 650lb springs and was wondering if anyone had a brand preference.

Doesn’t Eibach make bilstein coils? Could be wrong but I would just go with the 650# bilstein coils meant for the 6112’s

They are the same - literally.

Eibach makes the springs for Bilstein.

I somehow didn't even know this :boom:... Definitely didn't expect it especially since for example they don't offer an aftermarket tapered ID option (tundra). Had a lengthy discussion with my Eibach rep here just a few minutes ago and we cross referenced Tacoma Bilstein 6112 650# springs via the on-spring printed SKU with the Eibach comparable. Same spring.

@PhishinTaco What offset on those rims? I was thinking that 275/70/17 Falken's didn't rub with these?

With them having the same springs as the eibach 2.0 coilovers would they have a similar ride and feel? I have the Eibach coilovers so I was just curious.

I just got 6112's but have nothing for rear yet, they are set to the highest setting. If I install it will the front sit higher than the rear?

Try 4Runner Pro wheels if you like the factory look. Those are +4 offset I believe.

Edit: disregard. Just saw that your tires are for 16” wheels.

This does work, and I went 1 step further when I had my tundra. After I cleared them, 6112/5160, I wrapped the bodies with 3M paint protection. They still looked new 3 years later when I got rid of it.

Anyone have to do a sway bar relocate? Saw someone on reddit mention its needed because the 6112s are so much thicker than stock that the sway bar will rub.
