Thanks for looking into it! Now to decide if I want to go eibach or bilstein on new coils. I am liking the silver.

Bilstein 5100’s with ome 881 coils on lowest setting, JBA upper control arms, LCE header, 31x10.5x15 falken wildpeaks.
Does anyone have their 6112’s set at 9/7 with the 1.5” aal? If so can you post a side picture of your truck? back to the settings…9 and 7 seem really far off. My truck hasn’t been delivered yet but to me the one I test drove didn’t lean that much to have the setting that far off. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

On the new 6112s, the grooves are closer together, so 9/7 would be closer to a 5/4 on the old style.
9/7 should be about 1.4" lift in the front for the 4x4 Double Cabs.

Is that lift over leveled or from stock height? So 1.4” on 9/7 would pretty much level the truck out then?

For a 2” lift do you NEED to get ecgs replaced or no?

It’s a case by case. Some are ok without it….some need it right away

But it will fail eventually. So you can swap it right away or take your chances

that’s so weird. What are parts and labor costs to do that?

Looking for input. I have all parts/tires to install 6112s on my 3rd gen TRD OR. Tires are 265/75/16 Duratracs. The 6112s are set on clips 10/8. Should I get a sway bar drop bracket or is that not going to be an issue?

You should be fine without. We've been having folks check as we get installed pics back and have noticed no interference to the 6112s.

I installed the Icon sway bar drop bracket with the 6112s. Like memario1214 said above, I don't think there would have been fitment issues without it, but I think it might help correct the sway bar geometry with the lift.

I was wondering if you need the sway bar drop for the 6112’s.

Do you need to diff drop kit for the 6112’s? I’m have them set at #11 and #9 (2”)

You do not need the sway bar drop with 6112s. I've been running them for almost 8 years, with no issues.

Also, do not waste your money on a diff drop. They tend to do more harm than good - and the good they provide is not needed. I close to 200K miles with my 6112s on the top clip, no diff drop, no issues.

I keep saying that every truck is different.

I installed 6112 on my truck, and the coil was hitting the sway bar. But it’s not a big deal. The sway bar drop brackets were like $20…I think

Same. Mine had a tiny amount of rub, but I also have my 6112s set on lower clip. I got a cheap set of relo brackets and didn't worry about it.

Though recently, this guy who was vehemently against running without a sway bar, got curious and took a small road trip without the sway bar. And holy crap,I feel enlightened. These shocks really do better without, even on the road, in traffic.

It gives the independent suspension a chance to actually work without the restriction of the sway bar. 10/10 way better

True, no sway bar will give you more flex….but it comes at a cost. Car leans more in the corners. To get to a popular campsite here in NorCal, we have to take highway 1 along the cost, which is full of twist and turns out. Have no sway bar there sucked.

I drove 1 year without it, and recently put it back on. Drives on the street better, off road, unless you are rock crawling where you have a lot of travel, it’s pointless.
I often travel fire roads, and beaches….having no sway bar would not befits in that instance.

I towed my 3000# camper up the entire length of Highway 1 during Christmas before the storms. No sway bar. No sweat.
