I'm actually perfectly level while backed onto an ever so slight slope in my driveway, just a smidge nose high when I'm pulled in. All trucks are different, but I think you will be perfectly level with the overload in and 6/5. Personally though, I'm not looking for level, I'm going for the factory rake look of about 1" ass high. If I'm still too high with the overload and archive hangers, I think I'm just going to drop the front to 5/4....I've spent enough on this truck already, not looking for a $600 pack.

The picture is sloped towards the back so it exaggerates the lean a bit.

50/50 on TW people cutting the overload down to use with the aal, some don't like the idea of the overload being longer than the shortest aal, some don't care. I'm going to cut it to just shy of the shortest aal personally.

Not sure if I have a different oem leaf pack or what but I took the overload out and my ass end is still touch hirer. It’s been almost two months. Glad I kept my overload out.

Thanks! I went with SDHQ and the zeon platinum 10 synthetic. It brought my front down 1/2" and did seem to make it dive a little easier on hard braking. The 6112s at 6/5 took care of that, very little nose diving. I wish I went dakars in hindsight, oh well.

6112/5160/Dakars. 5/6th notch. 2.5” in front and 2” in back measured day after install. Thinking will settle to the 2” eventually as the guide says.

    You finally did it!!! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Looks good!! Are those 265s duratracs?

Make sure you fluid film the rears if you got salted roads. Front seems to hold up better than the rears.

If I were to do it again I would paint that area where it’s prone to rusting from salted roads.

Doesn’t affect performance and just surface rust but it’s ugly lol

So after reading through a few dozen pages I am undecided. I am going with the front at 4/5 and the rear with an Icon AAL. I still want a rake or be leveled at the absolute minimum. Do I remove the OL leaf and then add the AAL or keep it? I am not going for a super rake though. All the pictures seem to be with 5/6 as the setting up front. Thank you.

265/70/17 Wrangler Duratrax MT - 17" trd wheels - 3" bilstein 6112 front w/ LR 3/4" strut spacer and 5160 rear - SPC UCA's - LR AAL, ext brake lines - Banks Monster cat back 3" exhaust.
First post and im already calling for help. Last week I bought a 3" lift kit from low range off road Bilstein 6112/5160, UCA's, AAL, ext brake lines, and diff drop as well as a 3/4" strut spacer.. LR off road assembled the 6112 in-house and set them to the highest setting before shipping. I had the kit installed by a well known shop in Merritt island FL. After the installation they told me I needed an alignment Badly. Went down to the local Gattos and those dudes said my lift kit was putting to much strain on the ball joints and everything else up front and that they couldn't fully align the vehicle. The lift shop never mentioned the strain or potential hazard after putting the kit on, kinda pissed about that and other things they did... After looking at the angle of the balljoints and CV axles I can see that something is not right and needs attention soon. How would y'all go about fixing this. From center hub I have 24" in rear and 24" front driver, 25" pass. If I drop down a couple notches how would I level the rear out and how much lift would I loose? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Going that high (closer to the 3" height) on your lift I would think you need some new Upper control arms (UCA's) to help bring your alignment into good driving performance...I believe thats what the technician is alluding too in his notes on your alignment spec sheet....as far as the rest goes ... CV boots and such I don't know much about the preferred angles on those, but you should be ok they just may wear quicker than usual.... someone should be along that knows a bit more than me ...lol

Edit:...I see you mentioned you bought UCA's but the ones in the pics look stock to me

Keep in mind your front and rear are going to settle a bit more so I wouldn't drop too many notches down. Any reason why you chose to do a 3/4" spacer on driver's side? I feel like each notch on the 6112's are more like a 1/2" at most between each other.

You should also make sure that the alignment shop actually knows how to adjust SPC UCAs as I have heard several shops not knowing that they can adjust these like crazy. Do you know what setting the shop had assembled the UCAs at? https://www.spcalignment.com/instructions/25470-INS_WEB.pdf

You really want aftermarket UCAs. That will help with the alignment.

As for the CV joints, what you have is normal for a lift. You could lower the lift (spring perch height), but all of us that are lifted are in the same situation.

EDIT: I see you have new UCAs. They look like they are not adjusted properly.

No worries. I do think that the alignment shop just doesn't know that those UCAs are completely adjustable.

@RandomCupHolder go back to the shop and give them the installation instructions. It isn't uncommon that I have heard people bringing this to their alignment techs so they know what how the hell to adjust the UCA
