I replace the springs that came with the 6112, which are 610# rated.

Alright, read through the entire thread, and while there are some solid data points for me, I'll go ahead and ask my question:

For my 2007 (2ndgen), 4x4 TRD OR Access Cab with TSB recall leafs, how much lift can I expect for 2nd notch vs. 3rd? I'm bone stock, no armor, sliders, etc.

I'm looking for right around ~1.75 in lift so I can still have mild rake with the Icon progressive AAL (no overload).

What setting did you have your fronts set at originally? Did you use the same setting when you went up to the 700# springs? I've been on setting 3 for about 2 years and mine has sagged a little bit, not real bad though but I was thinking about upgrading to the 700#s and im not sure where i want to set them.

You're going to be in that gray area between #2 and #3 position. #3 netted me 1.75" of lift but that's on a Double Cab 4x4, other DC's have gotten as much as 2" on #3. You'd expect a bit more on an Access Cab with no armor. I'd hate to tell you to go #2 and you not get quite the amount of lift you want, so decision is absolutely up to you.

I did the 4th clip on DS and the 3rd clip on PS. My truck is a AC 4WD V6. With an ICON AAL (no overload), my front is about 3/8" higher than the rear. The AAL is used from a previous truck and the front stuff is brand new. From hearing everyone's results I'm expecting some more settling in the front still. IIRC, I am sitting about 23" hub to fender in the front right now.

Getting excited and closer. My JBA uca's showed up and I am dropping off the springs to be powder coated next week then hopefully in a couple weeks install begins. I shouldn't be worried about doing it myself, but I am since I have never lifted a truck before.

Did nearly exactly what you are contemplating on an 05 OR/AC manual. 6112 + Headstrong 3-leaf AAL on TSB leafs, no overload. Spacer on driver's side (can't remember if it is 1/8 or 1/4"). I got right at what the Bilstein table says for front at #2 (~1.0") and rear a tiny bit more than +1.5". As a result the rake is a maybe 0.5" more than stock but not objectionable. I've considered raising front to #3 for a little less rake but every time I think about it I get a headache. Going to run it thru winter and see if the rear settles anymore. The 6112/5169 kit has been on 18 months or so, and the AAL since early spring. Have not noticed any settling in front and maybe 1/4"-1/2" rear to get to where it is now. You're not going to get anything close to 1.75" in front at #2, and probably a little less in the rear with no overload.

@iK0NiK & @ajpagosa thank you both for the input... "Gray Area" and "Headache" are both great ways to describe the decision-making process here ;)

Very helpful. In some ways, I'm worried less about not having sufficient lift (1" + 75r16s will be a nice stance upgrade from stock) than I am with too much rake, the aesthetics of too much lift, or bro lean.

Made some quick calculations below using your feedback, and now I'm trying to decide on:

    1) #2 and no AAL (until I get a camper shell or my TSB begins to sag)
    2) #2 + AAL + biting the bullet and getting a camper shell soon
    3) #3 + AAL + praying it does not look too "lifted" on that tire size for my tastes

On your option 1, I did that for a while. #2 and no AAL on brand new TSB 3+1 leaf springs. It sat perfectly level, no rake. But after 6 months or so and some towing, it was sagging noticeably in back. Then the 3-leaf AAL went in, no overload and I got the lift described above. I think #2 + AAL (no OL) with camper will look good, factory rake. Mine is a tiny bit high in back like this with no camper. #3 + AAL (no OL) will be very close to factory rake no camper. Same with camper maybe dead level or small rake. Hope this helps.

    Thanks! It helps a lot.

Right now, as in the past 30 minutes because this is HARD to make a decision on, I'm actually leaning toward #2 notch + AAL, like you.

Curious: Do you have any recent pics with your truck in this configuration? Since I've been driving around with newish TSB leafs (I never tow and rarely haul), I'm wondering if I might actually have more tolerance for the a higher rear-end (at least until I'm ready for a shell/cap).

Sure, I took these earlier today. They are a little misleading obviously a lot of snow and the rears are on about 3" of ice, fronts on pavement. Parked next to my buddy who has dead stock 2012 Double cab, auto V6 SR5. All season tires. His truck's not on as much ice. ALso my truck has taller 265-75/16 Falken Wildpeak AT3 tires.

Thanks. So on flat pavement it would be a little easier to see the rake. I have about 0.5" more than stock. I think if you put a camper on it would drop back down to factory rake maybe little less depending on how heavy it is. One other thing I have is a Helwig rear sway bar kit. You just can barely see it under the rear end.

So these do not have to be rebuilt every 20K miles like coilovers, correct?

Ok I have been reading through here and yes I googled this as well. As with the 5100's you may use longer and heavier coils like an OME 886 or 885 to achieve your desired lift while leaving the strut set at "0". Are there longer and heavier coils that will provide 2.5"-3" lift and a heavier spring rate for the 6112's while allowing it to be left on the "0" setting. A heavier spring rate of around #650 for full armor and my winch. To me, if I simply utilize the lift settings on the 6112's and their srings I am simply preloading the struts which is what I don't want to do.

AFAIK there is no longer spring available. If you find out let us know.

You'd have to order a custom 3x(custom height)x(custom rate) spring. Stock and replacements are normally 3x14 sized, rates vary, 600, 650, 700 lbs.

That's kinda what I have been thinking. Get in touch with Eibach and see if they could make them. I'm betting they could.
