I haven't had 6112s but everything in this thread says to me to go down two notches. Lift is overrated in my opinion. 2.5" ftw :D

I haven't talked to Wheelers off road. The ride isn't bad, a little stiffer than stock but that's to be expected. I have a Badlands 9000# winch mounted (I know, but it was free) along with the ARB. So I wouldn't mind it being a little softer ride

Yes, I never intended to lift it this much, the only reason I put them at the top notch was because that is what Wheelers off Road suggested, but I don't think they factored on the increased spring rate with the 700# springs, so I'm thinking of going to 1/2 notch or 2/3 to help with the taco lean. Thanks for the reply

Ok, here are some pics, sorry for the weird angle, it's hard to hold the tape and take a pic, but anyway, after measuring, DS is at 4/4.5" and PS is 5/5.5" roughly. The taco lean is strong with this one So the front still sits higher than the rear, even with a 2" AAL in back. For reference the stock height was 20 1/4"
DS is middle pic, PS next one down, 20190305_073931.jpg

i would take some preload off of that, you dont have much down travel given the setting.

Sometimes putting the spring perch on upside down will give too much lift. On 5100's anyways.

With a longer, higher rate spring you wouldn't need any preload to lift it right? You're essentially doubling up by using the long heavy spring and then preloading it on the coilover.

That's exactly what I thought, and i asked that specific question to the tech and Wheelers off Road, and they still told me I needed the preload at the 5th notch to get 3". Again, I'm no expert, so I just did what they suggested

You would need that knotch setting if you had a huge steel bumper, winch, and full steel skids and the front was sagging 3" due to weight.

You would get 3" on the 5th knotch with the regular 600 pound springs. Or 3" with 700 lb springs and no preload on the bilsteins. At least that's the way I see it.

Even with the ARB and winch, there really isn't any sag at all, which was the whole point of going with the 700# springs

With lifted trucks instead of preloading shocks would not it be simpler to have a taller spindle?"

Is the spring perch upside down? I have 6112 and can compare when I get home tonight.

This is the best pic I have of the 6112s. As far as I know, the spring perch can't be upside down. It's a different design than the 5100s.

Does anyone know if ARB 885X springs will work with the 6112’s?
