I still have the 600 pounders, I just don't think they will be enough to hold up 200+ pounds of extra weight up front

Spoke with Wheelers again and they reiterated that there is no issue with running the 700# springs with the 6112s. They said they have sold that pairing to lots of customers and have had no issues. So I'm just gonna stay with the 700# springs and hope for the best :fingerscrossed:

I was told that prerunner are 200 lbs lighter up front then 4x4 and it would take 500 lbs of extra Chet to make 700 worth it

Most after market bumpers are under 200 lbs and winch under 100 lbs

Yeah, 4X4, ARB is roughly 140-150#, winch with wire cable, 80#, plus the added wieght of the 4x4, so I'm sitting right around there

Let us know how the install goes- I have added some front armor/winch recently and although it seemed fine on the street the added weight works the suspension hard on the trail and I am interested in your set-up.

If bilstein says the 6112 are not intended to be run with 700s I would recommend following the directions of the manufacturer. I know money is an issue, but paying to adjust the coilover height to still not be happy with the result will lead to paying the shop again to install the correct coils. Famous TW saying ... pay once cry once

Perhaps buy the 650s and get some help from local TW folks to install. Worse case pay a shop to put the coils on but then install the coil overs yourself with help. If I can do it anyone can.

I agree 100%, but I've already bought once, lol right now this thread has become more about letting others know, if you're going with the 6112s, and need extra spring rate, get the 650 coils! Lol
