JLEE i have been doing some trimming but im still having some rubbing ive done pretty much what you did i cut the fender flare and have cut some plastic in the fender wale and have cut the pinch weld and smoothed it out but it still hit some when im close to full lock and flex the front tires some such as if i turned on a speed bump. does your hit as all when you close to full lock of flexing while turning. if i just sit on a flat a surface i can turn to almost full lock and have about incg from hitting. i have 15x10 wheels could that be causing a problem. i feel like if i flex i will hit the body with the middle of the tire.

I had to do some trimming on mine, but I also used a rubber mallet to help knock a few things back. I don't think your going to be able to get away from rubbing completely unless you go to a slimmer tire. Something else you might look into is your struts. If they are worn, you might be getting more rub because they cant handle the weight transfer.

Billy 5100's with eibach 3"coils and custom built rear leafs, brush guard and lights, sprayed in bedliner, camo interior, camo decals, new sound system, wet okole's, 265/75/16 tires, fog light mod, rear locker mod, deck plate mod
Ok so it seems that everyone isnt the same. I just bought some american racing tactic's 16x8 with a +10 offset which is 4" bs, I was told. The specs on the 285/75/16 tires I am wanting to get are 33.2" tall and 11.4" wide. Will I have rubbing issues with billies set at the highest and stock springs or will it be alright? I dont want any rubbing issues. I dont really want to get a 265/75/16, I want a little bigger.

Completely stock again down to the OEM tires!
    Hi all,
A couple of weeks ago I bought an 03 Tacoma double cab prerunner that came with MT 33" and Fabtech Dirtlogic 2.5 Coil overs that gave it an approx 3" lift. The guy had them on only for aesthetic reasons as I am familiar with vehicles that are actually used off road. He also slapped some TRD stickers on the truck but I quickly informed him that I knew the truck wasn't a TRD...lol I asked him a couple of questions and he seem lost so I decided to purchase the truck. I took the Fabs off in favor of the stock shocks and stock wheels and fresh stock tires. At the time I had plenty of clearance and absolutely no rubbing issues.
I look fwd to reading up on some of your treads and also use you guys as points of reference in the future. I'm sure you all will be as helpful as the guys back on my other forum.
