Are tacoma's really a target for birds?

I've had mine for almost 6 months now, and there are currently 14 differnet white spots on it, which seems to be about normal. My last car ('94 camry) got shit on once in the three years I owned it.

I did check, there is no bullseye on the top of my truck.

They bomb my truck constantly, I came out one day to my gas tank cover and all around it was a mess.

I was driving to work one morning and all of a sudden I hear this very loud pop on my windshield. So damn loud I ducked thinking it was a gunshot or my window blew out. When I looked up I saw what had to be the world largest bird shit splatter ever. I actually measured it at work. Size of a basketball. Must have been a freaken pterodactyl.( spell check) That damn bird must have been severely constipated.

There is overhead powerlines right infront of my house, running parallel with the side of the street. One morning I woke up to bird dookie half way back the roof, all the way down the windscreen, and half way down my hood. I couldn't believe how much there was! Said "screw this Im not driving around with that", ran the hose out and quickly washed it down. I don't park there anymore.

While we are on the subject of bird crap, make sure you wash off the crap ASAP. 2nd Gen trucks don't have all that great of quality clear coats, I had bird crap eat into my clear coat.

^ +1 on that one. I have off street parking that unfortunately under a tree. My 06 was silver and the bird crap that was colored actually stained my paint. That why I'm forced to constently use a car cover on my truck even tho it's a pita. My 2010 I got a darker color this time in hopes of that happening. But the clearcoat does suck. Maybe it's just me but it seems like rain or even water if not removed properly leaves etching marks. Ugh I'm starting to give up trying to keep these trucks looking nice :(

Toyota all weather floor mats. Mag light that clunks around in the jack compartment. Dog hair. Dog drool on the windows.
they seem to like red. Mine gets pooped on frequently. Every honda dirtbike, or quad i had got pooped on. they were all red. hardly ever on my gold ford, silver corolla, white toyota, black ford.. but my red neon got it as well.

Interestingly enough "Tacoma" is Swahili for "bird toilet". So taking those "Tacoma" badges off is like removing the men's room sign and they'll shit on it less. No joke. Okay maybe.

Parked under a tree on campus and it never occurred to me that the birds would probably shit all over my truck but they did. It was parked under the tree for only 6 hours and it looked like every damn bird in Hawaii decided to use my truck as their toilet. There was damn near 50+ shits all over the hood, roof, bed. No kidding. Wish I took a picture but I was too pissed. Washed all of it off immediately but what's weird was that every other car parked under those trees didn't have not one speck of poo on it.
