Black billet grille

    Autolumination Yellow fog light bulbs, Dynomax Ultra Flo muffler, AFE Pro Dry S air filter, tailgate security mods, TRD skid plate, DeeZee bed mat, Armor Lid tonneau, OEM roof rack, TRD center caps, Satoshi grille, Sockmonkey tailgate decal
    I'm thinking about painting (or possibly powder coating) my billet grille inserts black. It would look something like the picture below. What do you think? Should I take the Stones' advice and paint it black or leave it as is?

    post a pic of your grill. is it the cut out style or just the cheap one you lay over top of the factory grill?

    Paint it, I did and it looks so much better. Just take it out and scuff it with a scotch brite pad then spray it, I used Krylon Rustolium in semi flat black.

    It's a bolt-over but it wasn't cheap. It's a 1/4" thick slab of polished stainless steel - very solid. I have no complaints about the quality. There are some pics on the little camera link to the left.
    I also thought about painting it MGM, but I think black would be better.

    With the bright stock headlights you cannot achieve an all-black look anyway. My opinion is to leave it as-is, to preserve visual balance.
