I am trying to find a quality black emblem overlay for my 2019....Yes I know there is the factory kit for $150 on Amazon but I do not need everything they are giving.

The only chrome badges I am trying to cover is the Tacoma emblem on both doors and the V6 on the back tailgate....that is the only emblems I have.

I did put the Tacoma inlays in I ordered from Amazon for $35 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JJ7HCE6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I’m also curious on this, I did a lot of searching but couldn’t come with anything other than the factory kit. The route I think I’ll end up taking is buying the 2 black Tacoma emblems from Amazon for fairly cheap and ditching the V6.

Perhaps try this site... I don't know about the quality or what not but maybe check it out and see, as another option.

Not sure on the quality of those kits but if you want a cost-effective way of doing this, I plasti-dipped mine this week and for $5 I think they came out great. There are plenty of videos on youtube that walk you through how to do this.

You could just plasti-dip and clear coat them

    I bought these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-2016-2...m=173599143089&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

The seller also offers the set with the V6 emblem: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3PC-2016-2...dMAAOSwcWJby3UF:sc:USPSFirstClass!18031!US!-1

These are replacement badges, not overlays. For some reason, they are about 1/4" shorter in length than the factory emblems, but you can't tell unless you hold them up next to each other. Here's a pic for comparison:20181101_160713.jpg

I have the same kit from Ebay, looks great although I never noticed they were just a little shorter than OEM.

For the rear I also have the Eyecatcher kit from Amazon in addition to a couple of retro badges.

I found this site earlier. It looks like they sell or OEM parts or pretty close to it at a discounted price. If anyone knows of these guys or ordered something from them you'd be a good resource on letting us know if their legit or not.

Ordered the rubber bed mat from Sparks Parts. Legit OEM for sure.

None on my truck and its outside in the weather and sun 24/7.

Have had the tail gate letters for 6 months and the black out replacement badges for 2 months.

I have the overlays on my truck too, truck sits outside and has been exposed to temps over 100 and below 0 and they look great.

Leveling kit, changed to Heritage grill, switched to amber fog lights, added "raptor" lights to grill, changed all badging to black and added TACOMA lettering to tailgate, added red lettering to door sills ...
