These plastics scratch extremely easy, somehow my dash got scratched.

Anyone know a way to minimize the scratches on the plastics?

It's not a deep scratch, looks like something rubbed against it and it turned a chalky color instead of deep black like the rest of the dash.

    Thanks in Advance TW!

Pull all that plastic out and spray it with bed liner. That should give it some strength. Lol

I noticed about a 1 inch scratch up on top of my dash the other day, it had to be done during the assembly process or during Dealer Prep as I know I never even reached anywhere near that section of dash.

Fingernails will scratch this textured plastic. It was a horrible choice of grain etching. I've got a lot already on driver door just from ingress/ egress.
I've got very visible white stress marks from both the rear door panels from the ejector pins pushing the panel off during the molding process and I haven't removed either of the rears. I just left it as is.

    :luvya:Toyota quality...

Not sure if "quality" but certainly a poor material selection/design choice.

Same plastics we use at Honda. It's their tooling and type of grain they're using. Depth of etch in microns and how pebbled it appears. Creates extra friction and promotes scratching.
    Ok, let me update...
:luvya: Toyota fit/finish QC engineers and all the vendors who did your grain texture on the Tacoma interior.
