I was thinking of painting my sock alloys black because they are pitted and corroded ond look like shit. I used that spray on bedliner on some rock sliders i made and it looks good but i didnt know if anybody has painted thiers black or not. My truck is red 95.5 taco so i would like to see how they look on a red truck. Also any other paint ideas like color or brand?

    RIP Lucy.
    She's gone but not forgotten.
I have aftermarket alloys on mine, no idea who made them (the center cap has a "S" on it). I'd love to shoot them black but I know there's a topcoat on them that would have to be removed first, and I have no idea how to get it off. Sanding would take weeks.

Once they're black there would be the fun of how to re-topcoat them too.
