    I would use 303 cleaner and protectant. Designed for plastic, rubber and stuff like that. Works great on my interior. It's a aerospace commercial product.

    I just purchased solution Finnish and hope to try this in the next week or two when it is not freezing out. I will provide a update as soon as I have a chance to test it.

    Think it will get wax/sealer off black plastic? Probably won't seeing it is a plastic restorer.

    I would start with a IPA wipe down that will get rid of the wax, after that what you will have left is staining solution finish should hide the staining. Wax is easy to break down the problem with some waxes and sealants on rubber is the staining.

    Another idea is try using a magic eraser and see what you get.
