If you were getting black wheels put on your tacoma, which finish would you prefer?

    Full Gloss

    Semi-Gloss

    Flat

...I'm leaning towards Semi-Gloss cuz you get the best of both worlds but I'm curious as to what others would like. List any pros or cons of the finishes if you know of any also.

I think you are right about the simi gloss. I have the American racing Mojavie Teflons. I love the way they look. It sometimes depends on the rims though. I have seen some powder coated rims that look fantastic! What rims are you looking at?

I have looked at 100s of wheels and I still cant find what I want yet. I have now decided that I want a flat black finish though.

Bilstein shocks all the way around, Falken Rocky mountain ats2 265/70/17, BHLM, thrush welded muffler, bed liner undercarriage, fender flares and rocker panels, nfab light bar, led off-road lights, grillcraft grill with old Toyota emblem, secondary air filter removed, cb radio, extra hooks in bed, removed front mud flaps, painted pinch weld black.
I had trouble deciding so I went with semi gloss. I love the way they turned out.

I saw some flat black ones by american racing that are nice. The atx series. I don't have mine yet, but those will be the ones.

i voted for semigloss but its a tossup for me between that and flat i think the gloss looks fake and like big plastic hubcaps

I voted Flat Black. Should be getting my XD Revolvers today, Im digging the looks. Easier to clean, and yes, it does look a bit like brake dust, but that just means i dont have to clean them daily!!
