Primer or adhesion promoter would problably be a smart thing to do.

    Nice Job and looks great!
One suggested change to your procedure I would offer is to re-apply the 2-sided tape before painting the badges.

Man...that's a really great look. Got a 2010 dark gray taco...think I might give it a try. On a side note, it looks like you have a cat back exhaust...if so, I'm curious how you like it. Nice truck, man.

If you're asking me the question...... I think what you are seeing is the chrome exhaust tip. The exhaust system is stock.

Thanks for the compliments guys, I love the way they came out, and thanks for noticing the calipers :)

I think red on your indigo ink could look good, it just depends on if there are any other colors on your truck... just the right amount of a color that stands out like crazy is good, obviously too much will put it over the top and look bad.

I'm thinking I should try it and see how it looks. All I have that is red on the truck, are the TRD Sport stickers on the rear fenders. If I paint my calipers and the emblems, I think it could look sick!! It would just be a splash of red. If it looks terrible, I'll black them out! :D

If anyone else has done this already, please post pictures! I have not seen it though on an indigo ink rig.

Can't hurt to try it like you said! Thats why I did it, I haven't seen another super white with red badges, I think I saw a couple people with black rigs with red badges, those looked good as well. See how they look, maybe get them painted and stick them on with some regular double sided scotch tape, just so you can stand back and see if you like them.
