    Sounds like painting the bumper would be a real pain in the A55 from what everyone is saying. Apparently working with chrome isnt all that simple :D

    yeah thinking about it now it was prolly a lot less than that, I had all most of my custom graphics done the same day so that figure is likely off. The guy who wrapped mine does a lot of custom wrapping for high end cars too

    Yea, If I were you, I would just sell the chrome bumper you have, take that money and buy a painted one. Although these vinyl covered bumpers in this thread look really good!

    It actually was not that bad. I did it at the beginning of summer, so it was nice and hot out, so the vinyl was nice and pliable. That added with a heat gun (but a hair drier will work too), a spray bottle full of water, and a rubber squeegee to remove any bubbles. I think overall it took about 2 hours.

    I don't have any pics of the process, as I just hammered through it. One thing I would do next time is do it in sections. This time I did it all as one sheet and it was a pain. Doing it in sections (left, right, center) would make it so much easier. Once its on the truck, you don't see the lines or overlap anyways.
