Thanks. It turned out pretty good. Thanks to this thread! Haha. I did use a green scrub pad to scuff the chrome. No runs and looks like it came from factory that way. Pre-heated oven to 300* and put in for 8 minutes (oven off). Then 200* and 2 minutes for reassembly (oven off). Now i just hope it doesn't fog up in the future.

I am wanting to know if anyone has a measurement of the 12+ reflector on the side of the headlight? I am posting a link to something that I am going to do but to save time ill ask so I don't have to take my lights apart and then go to the sticker shop. I want the trd logo on the reflector like one below at link. I am getting two stickers made so I can just put them on and paint once dry remove sticker so the logo stands out. I am doing this mod on Wednesday so a fast reply will be awesome. Thanks

I will be doing this mod to my truck and was hoping to do it very soon, but I was thinking of doing it in white rather than black. Thinking it might look good on my white taco, I haven't found any pictures of this, any opinions?

There ya go, posted by neslerrah in the first few pages of this thread.
    I think it looks good.

It's probably a Grillcraft like mine. Got mine off ebay & you can also get them from Grillcraft's site. Its just the mesh though not the whole grill.

Thanks. Yeah SpruceTaco is right, its a Grill Craft grill. I almost got them (top and bottom) on ebay but then i found online cheaper. You have to cut your existing grill but its pretty easy.

Alright so I just finished doing my lights and and I decided to do black aswell, I used a scotch pad on them and layed a heavy coat of primer before 3 coats of black. I used Plastikote primer and paint. I also did the ugly orange reflectors black, love the way it turned out.

So it took from 10 till 2. Definitely worth it. I was scared about melting it. 8 min at 300. Perfect!

Yota Man-I was considering painting my reflectors black but i was worried that i might get a ticket for it someday (and not wanting to open it all up again to fix). Chances are slim but with my luck it would happen. Looks good though.

Thanks guys, and good luck to those willing to do it. I first tried a heat gun which was working but would have been alot more time consuming, i was just a little sketched out puting brand new headlights in an oven. But worked really well. Yeah Rick that crossed my mind too lol but I figured its just a reflector and not a light so I should be alright and went for it, looks like it was never there in the first place. Plus I was trying to take them out but felt like they were going to break trying to get them out so just painted them too.

Hey Rick did you use any extra sealant? Once I heated them up and got them together im sure they would have been fine with the factory sealant on it but I figured I would gunk it up some more just for extra measure, then I went and washed the shit out of it the next day to see if there was gonna be a problem with moisture and all seems good so far. Truck looks great btw
