It has come to our attention that a rather unfortunate medical emergency has befallen @blackout14, a long standing and active member on TW! Joe and his family could use a little extra help settling up on the medical bill.

A GoFundMe has been set up and any and all credit goes to @HolyHandGrenade who started this initiative to support a fellow TW member!

It’s TW practice to not allow GoFundMe’s without the moderators and admin discussing it and evaluating the circumstances. In this situation, we support this for Joe and his family.

Please consider donating to the cause to help offset the cost of a lifesaving flight for Joes young daughter.

We, as a community support one another through adversity and triumph!

Shit sucks. Adds up way too quickly. Had an 80k bill I’m still paying off for it. I’ll reshare with locals

:( You guys are too much. But thank you for everything even if it was just a message or a text with a funny gif. I just want my whole family home at this point the wife is out of vacation time and I have about 4 days left. Money aside I’m glad she is ok and that is all that matters to me. Please do not feel you need to do anything but this whole thing has been very humbling to me and my little family so again from my heart I am truly thankful for the support, freinds, and just general place to keep my mind occupied this forum has given me even though I know I wasn’t the easiest person to deal with sometimes. It truly is a special place somewhere along the lines I forgot that. I have spent much of the last few days speechless and am so very grateful.

In the end, this is a community and we take care of each other.

Might be obstacles in place but they aren’t insurmountable!

The last thing a parent should have to think about is financial burdens while their child is being cared for. I wish @blackout14 and his family all the best.

We ended up in the hospital for 3 days when my son had breathing problems. I can't imagine having to worry about cost of medical care on top of that stress.
