Here is the report I got from Blackstone Labs on my 2000 Tacoma with 291K miles. I don't really know what all the number mean, but I've always wanted to have some oil tested. Oil had right at 3K miles on it and I plan to run it to 5K or 6K. I haven't had to add any oil to this engine(except for when I drained out a quart to have it tested). Sounds like my lower end is in good health. :)

    Here is the summary:
"RYAN: As an independent lab we don't make oil recommendations, but we will say that you can use pretty much anything with the API seal on it and get excellent results. We just don't see a lot of variation in wear based on brand. Synthetic is fine, though you don't need to use synthetic to run longer on the oil. This fill is working well for you - metals are nice and low, reading well within the average range for the 3RZ-FE engine. No fuel or coolant was present in this 5W/30 fill, and low insolubles show excellent oil filtration. Go ahead and add 3K mi to this fill then check back"

The meat of Blackstone reports is in the paragraph at the top. If there were any outstanding values these would have been pointed out here. They close with run this same oil for another 3k then Check back. I'd say pretty darn good for a high miles tacoma.

I assume you know this, but your address is on that file.

I am by no means an expert on this subject, but here's what I have to offer:

The "Elements" section lists the presence of various types of particles in parts per million (ppm). This means that for, example, every million particles in the oil mixture, 3 are iron particles. Most of the elements listed entered the mixture from the oil being used in your engine I would think.
It looks like the concentrations of foreign particles in your oil are average, which is good.

Insolubles would refer to matter in the oil that can't dissolve, meaning large clumps of particles. They cannot dissolve throughout the oil as individual particles, but rather stay together. Obviously, it's bad to have chips of metal (for example) floating around the oil. Your oil contains a low content of insolubles, which is good.

I can't believe I didn't think about my address and phone number. I'll edit that out and attempt to re-post it soon. Thanks for point it out to me. I feel like a bit of a moron.

Also, thanks for the info on the oil report.

Here's my 3RZ-FE Blackstone test done at around 80,000 miles for comparison.

Cool. Thanks for posting that. I'll compare them when I get a chance.

what oil did you use? I've been dumping whatever oil is laying around into my truck lately. The oil in it now is Mobil 1 of various weights, leftover stuff. I plan to go 9k miles on this run. Once I get back to using conventional I'll go back to 5k OCI's.

I don't know what oil the previous owner used. I'm not sure what oil I'm going to use when I change it. I've been using std Havoline 5w30 in our other vehicles.
