Bluetooth help?

So when phone connected why is it soo soft? do i put the volume max on the phone 3/4 ?

Radio won't clip from the phone volume being all the way up, the radio would clip from its volume being too high.

FWIW ($0.02 or less), with my Pixel, when I'm bluetooth streaming to my Pioneer DEH-X6900BT car stereo, the phone volume doesn't have any affect unless its muted. When I'm BT streaming to a portable speaker I have, the phone volume turns the speaker up and down, same as pushing the buttons on the speaker.
