I was wondering if anyone has got creative with where they put the mic. The whole story is I can't find the head unit with the funtions I want with out a ton of cash. So thinking of getting nav. and dvd with bluetooth add on. Just want it to look right.
    Thanks

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
Driver side A-pillar is the easiet. And I was told I sound like I am on the phone when I am talking in my truck. I just got a new Eclipse AVN726E installed w/ Sirius and I love it.

sorry for the crappy pics... and I know it's a first gen, but with a little creativity, you can get the mic so it's centered and can be used by yourself or your passenger easily.
I have the same Pioneer as BLUVVV

I mounted my mic above my rearview mirror in case my passenger wanted to speak on a call. As obvious as it looks to me, it fades in with the black mirror and black shade on the window.

How did you get the mic up to the top of the a-pillar?
