Hi guys, I am getting ready to start on this boat with regard to a complete makeover. I want to do some type of bed liner on the inside unless you have a better idea perhaps? Thoughts on the best product to use for the inside? Regular paint? I was thinking the bed liner would be nice for grip.

That a Grumman? Some of the best boats known for build quality for aluminums...I recently painted mine with marine grade paint bright blue.

Bed liner will make the boat heavy. Look into marine paint and then sprinkle non slip “grit” between coats.

Zolatone. It's what was originally used in a lot of Aluminum boats. I used it when I refinished mine 10 years ago. Still looks great.

The outside is done. I used marine grade enamel.

For the Inside the Best stuff that I have used on Several Aluminum Boat restores is light grey Gluvit Epoxy paint it will seal all the seams and you will not leak after that and on a Bare bottom style I just sprinkled a small amount of sand in it as I painted, Now there are two very important things to keep in mind with this stuff - first is don't try to mix and do the entire boat at once! divide it up into 2 foot x 2 foot or 3 foot x 3 sections the stuff cures fast once it is mixed. second thing is Unless you want to get real freaking high do it outside. oh yeah don't buy it from a "marine" store you can find on Amazon or even ace hardware for 1/2 the price or less than the boat place will sell it to you for.
