Yeah I almost fell over when I saw the price of OEM cam bolts. I did it the same way with the total chaos gussets and the gem bolts.

Crazy how expensive those stupid things are.

hahaha no not even close. I was driving down a back road and moved over to give room to the guy driving in the opposite direction. sank into the side of the road and scratched the freshly powdered rims in the process haha hadn't even been on the truck a day hahaha you still have that ABS kill switch for me?

So I made some shovel mounts to be mounted on the extra bed rail I put on this past summer. They turned out well but not perfect.

    Issues to be rectified:

    - raise the quick fist up about a 1/4" on the bracket above the fender well to prevent the handle of the shovel from rubbing.

    - leave a little more bracket above the hole for the knobs. The way it is right now, the top edge of the bracket doesn't sit against the rail. This results in the bottom of the bracket being forced away from the bedside when the knob is tightened.

I made these using some aluminium flat stock. 1" bend at the bottom to rest against the bedside. T slot nuts and knobs found at Ottawa fasteners. I had to trim the threads on the knobs because they were too long.

Here is a link for the PROPER knobs -> no modifications required.

Here is a link for the T slot nuts

I don't want to thread jack C4 fab's thread haha

I just asked a friend for the contact of the guy who made his roof rack and sliders. He seems to be doing custom works, so top plates on the sliders should be ok with him lol and also he did a pretty nice roof rack, but not something like prinsu tho, but still really cool. like custom roof basket

and about front recovery, I may pull the trigger on the mobtown front recovery bar, so I dont always haul the winch, and is also interchangeable between our model and the 2012-2015, so if (when) I go for DC i can still keep it. And Canadian Tire has a great deal on a 11k lbs champion winch, in a craddle, with wires and a snatch block too. would be the best option imo

pic shows the slider he made, roof rack and bed rack
