so, I noticed today while I was under the truck that my Rad Support Bushing are starting to crack. Looks like I will be ordering some sooner then later. Might order the kit and do my cab mount bushings next summer.

Was just cruising around same back country dirt roads checking for some good shore line fishing spots or even a back access to the lake. Didn't find any but had fun exploring haha cruised around a couple 4 wheeling trails too haha was able to get unstuck. A passer by in a f250 pulled me out. Good thing I keep a tow strap and my hitch receiver shackle. Didn't damage anything that I know of haha

@MarX hey man, you have any recommendations for polishing products to fix the surface scratching on my rims? just had them powder coated and well after sinking this weekend I noticed the front surface area is all scratched up now haha

so a little update on my rims:

This is what they should look like:
    20170905_174209.jpg

and this is the front rim all scratched up.
    20170905_163710.jpg

so I did my best to fix the issue but they aren't perfect. I have certainly improved the way they look. I am still a little bummed that they are the way they are, mostly because I had just got them back on my truck recently haha I'm going to wait until after the winter to determine if I'm going to get them PC'd again. if the winter scratches them up due to ice and snow and salt, then I wont bother.

so I first started working on the rear rim because it was in better shape then the front (I do not have a picture of the rear before I attempted to fix it). I used some Mequiars Ultimate Compound and applied it by hand. after doing this a few times I finished it off with come Carnauba wax. it's still scratched but a pretty good improvement from when I started.

    Rear Rim After "Fix"
    20170906_174627.jpg

Turned out pretty well, still some noticeable scratching going around the rim but not nearly as bad as it was or as bad as the front rim.

    Front Rim After "Fix"
    20170906_180322.jpg

This one here I used the same compound but I tried something a little different for the application. i mounted a foam pad into my drill to get a little more swirl action haha didn't make much of a difference. I also tried some NuFinish Scratch Doctor and Meguiars Ultimate Polish, didn't make much difference. Finished it off with some carnauba wax once again. I would say there has been improvement but still not up to my standards haha but that's how its going to stay for the time being. From far away you cant even really tell its scratched. up close its a little more noticeable. like I said, I will see how they hold up over the winter. if they don't easily scratch driving through the ice/snow/salt then I will contemplate getting them re done.

On another note I also did the "Fog Light Anytime" Mod by following this thread: also post #15

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...no-splicing-no-bending-100-reversible.309407/

I used some extra 16AWG wire I had laying around the house.
Female spade connectors for tab sizes .250 and .187
Male spade connectors for tab sizes .250

If you read the thread I linked above you will notice that there are two different tab sizes on the fog light relay. the .250 male and female works perfectly in the their corresponding slots. The .187 females fit nicely onto the relay. However I noticed that the MALE .187 connector was too loose inserting into its corresponding location. To fix this, I used a .250 MALE but trimmed it thinner with my dremel, I illustrate how much I cut off in the second picture below.

    20170906_181009.jpg

I marked in black, roughly how much I cut off. its always better to trim a little at a time.

    20170906_181049.jpg

Now I had to follow post #15 because my inverter fuse is not in the same box as my fog light fuse. as stated in that post, I took my power from the EFI fuse. Note that a little bit of modification is needed to be made in order to fit both the EFI relay tab and the tab you are adding for the mod back into the slot. I had to trim a little bit of plastic using a knife to make the opening to the slot a little bigger. in order to get the fuse to sit as flush as possible I had to trim some of the male tab which will be illustrated below.

Black mark represents what I cut off. I did this so once it is bent, the relay has more room to sit flush and does not hit that round part where the wire goes into the connector.

    20170906_194604.jpg

This is how it sits now. I shrink wrapped everything for some extra protection, I also soldered everything for assurance of good connections.
