That sucks... Good thing I asked haha like I say I can get a great deal in it but I'm not going to pay for shit. I don't like the front bumper anyway and the rear bpwr looks funny without the tire carrier... And I don't feel like killing anyone while driving down the road..

It sucks for me as Im going to be out TWICE the money now for fixing up my truck. This is my 6th Toyota (81, 85, 92, 96, 02, 2006) truck and the first one that I ever did anything to. Ran all of the rest of them completely stock with the exception being one size taller and wider on the tires.

Just looking at it like a remodel job now on my Tacoma. Im just going to cut my loss and move on. Don't know what Im going to do with the old stuff thats coming off. The Warrior stuff that I put on my wifes new FJ is great. Will save another 1500.00 and spring for the same Warrior set up for the Taco. The FJ is white too so they will be a "matched set".

The rear bumper is far from 1st class but appears to be commensurate for the price (approx. $350.00 delivered and powder coated). Two of the five holes/side don't....and won't line up. I received it as a result of being rear ended by an uninsured motorist and they paid for it. What can I say?

Im pulling all of the Body Armor stuff and replacing with Warrior. Its a little more expensive but not the most expensive.

To be honest Ive been on the fence since day one on the look of my truck. The light bar that I built "helped" the front bumper and the tire carrier "hid" the rear bumper. I think that my truck looks like cheap shit now with this Body Armor crap on it.

Cant wait to replace it. I will see what I can get for it at the scrap yard.

Meh, to each his own. I have the Body Armor rear bumper as a result of getting rear ended and this was just a few dollars more than a stock bumper. I wanted something more durable and I got it. I was thinking about getting the tire carrier, and still might. Just because one reported a bad experience doesn't mean it's bad. I'd check it's stability often though, just like anything else that could go wrong.

2 years later, jotster is still crying about his poor install. 2 years later I still love my bumper.
Anyone who expects aftermarket parts to fit like OEM should really just take a deep breath. They don't.

Matter of opinion. I'm not a fan of the front bumper styling but the rear looks great to me. Virtually every tacoma owner that's seen my truck compliments it.

I live in New England. No corrosion yet.
I pulled a '72 f250 with frozen brakes through the mud with this bumper.

    I guess that's mall crawling.

Maybe you can post pictures of the strength and corrosion issues?

...waiting as you scour the web for pictures of someone else's truck.

I think you're done but please feel free to offer more stuff you've "heard" and I shall continue to counter with fact.

Oh cool. Sounds legit. I would definitely make a decision based upon your poor recollection of someone else's thread that has dissappeared from the archive.

Some guy some time ago (you can't remember, find through a search) had bumpers that were pretty much falling apart.

    Kewl story brah.

Ok. So I'm not other people?

I understand. You go off "other" people whose experiences match up with your pre conceived negative opinion.

Once again: if you've "seen them fall apart" pictures would be great. And that doesn't mean "seeing some thread you can't find or remember."

    Yes. And that's the problem.

People like YOU corrupt search results by posting mindless here say. Many have posted legitimate first hand experiences either way. People like you jump on some sort of band wagon and offer nothing but a post count.

You have no first hand knowledge of the product. You don't even have direct second hand knowledge of the product. You have nothing but an unfounded opinion.

Unfounded bandwagon bull$hit offers nothing to anyone. No matter whether it's positive or negative. You seem to enjoy being some negative bandwagon fanboi and it's really not doing anyone a service except your ego.

It's a waste of our time to read your posts. It's a waste of your time to write them.

It's a further disservice to anyone who wishes to make a decision based upon them.

Please park your bandwagon in someone else's thread. You have nothing to offer here.
