    A few additions to make me feel cool.
    I don't think the weight will do anything but help the ride quality some. The payload will decrease as you are adding weight. However I would not buy that bumper because I think the design is horrable!

    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Put something simple in the back of the bed that weighs the same (like sand bags) and test for yourself. Generally though weight in the bed makes a smoother ride, as the springs are rated for load, not empty.

    Always. Easily measurable or not, added weight (including yours) always dings both. Simple physics.

    I did a quick Google on the part. Couple of low end vendors who carry this show neither weight or any side photos installed. Both may be out there and I just didn't see them. But, that's a warning flag for me. Dig deeper before you buy.

    There's a long thread on this forum about this bumper and lots of reviews on Amazon.
