If I’m off roading I’m usually in 4LO. It’s slower and more controlled. 4HI is for snowy roads in the city.

Engaging low range also engages 4x4, your front wheels should have been spinning.

And i find in this truck, the traction control can kill the engine and buck & jerk quite a bit doing it, especially in sand and moreso in High range.
Lo is what you want in the MT in sand

I still have my accumulator (i have vacation this month and will remove it)

    I also have ovtune.

I still get this jerkiness at low throttle but i think it is more of a electronic pedal thing.

It's like the truck is jumping back and forth between engine braking and throttle on.

My fix is to use a higher gear which makes the engine braking effect less pronounced.

I've watched the throttle with tech stream and at very low throttle it jumps between 0.14 and 0.84 which pretty much confirms my suspicion that it just doesn't like that tiny input.

Did you do try the Resets in FM? I had some stalling and low throttle issues the first time that I flashed. After doing the Resets, it was like a completely different truck and tune.

The ADM only changes the clutch engagement stroke. It makes it linear and direct.

Yes i have reset lvs and also tried various versions. I find the higher octane times the be better overall.

This jerkiness was there stock as well so it's not like the tune caused it.

I'm also aware of what the adm does, why i need it and why everyone else needs to do it. I just work a lot and haven't had time to Dremel that bugger.

    Excellent. Just checking.

Luckily for me, the tune has solved my jerkiness. Hopefully there is something in the future or in vF that might help you out?
