Bolt size for pre-threaded under-hood fender mount points?

    same here.. bought a generic thread checker. That is going to be perfect. I know the size but I want to know the size NEXT time too.

    The two M8 bolt holes on the driver's side are for the clutch fluid reservoir on certain models (manual OR's, for example).

    My Sport did not have a separate clutch reservoir. It was combined with the brake fluid reservoir. I thought it might be a good idea to have the two reservoirs separate. So I located a near-new clutch reservoir from a wrecked European Land Cruiser, in a junkyard in Bulgaria, of all places [!]. A cheap price on ebay, but I wasn't sure I'd ever receive it. Well, it finally arrived, and I installed it, capping off the outlet on the brake reservoir (see the picture below).
