Finger is pretty much healed (still cant feel anything in it) so taped it up and pulled my diff last night. Front locker going in this week, then just gotta slap the diff back in sometime. Also doing some more gusseting to the frame, skidplate, and also the rear diff mount while its out.

What shock length are you using with those relo kits?

Normally 12's with the Archive kits, as thats all any bolt in leaf will do for the most part. Lower shock mount then sits level with the axle which is nice. 14s would work perfect as well, just would lower the lower shock tab.
Tried 14s with the Bamf and it didnt work out at all, guy wanted/thought they would be fine but ended up cutting the bamf towers off and guy did a bedcage.
On my truck, Im running towers up into the bed. Had 14s, now have 16s.

    Hey Kevin,

Any interest on working on a new tent rack for my trailer? At a bare minimum, I'd like a rack that provides 18" of clearance from the bottom of the rack to the top lid. Ideally, I'd like a rack that provides that 18" clearance, but can also raise up to provide more clearance when the tent is deployed.

The issue with the current height it that it doesn't allow the tent annex to fully deploy. You have to duck into it and it's a PITA. I'd also like to transport my kayak below the tent rack on my way to camping.

Let me know what you think. I have a few ideas floating around...

And trying out the new Carbon Shocks 16ers in the rear. Great build quality and handle super well/handle how I want them.

    Hey Kevin,

I just noticed... are your rotors backwards?

It may not matter, since they're likely radial vanes...

Ah yeah mine just have straight vanes. As for the slots, put them the same direction as directional vanes would go. Cant imagine the slots make a difference which way, one day I'll get higher quality rotors!

    Here's what I was thinking...

    upload_2022-4-13_9-27-24.jpg

Initially, I was considering telescoping tube steel for the legs (size required TBD).

    https://www.mcmaster.com/telescoping-tubing/telescoping-weld-together-rails/

But I'm concerned with the wall thickness. As an alternative, perhaps I could use 2" receiver tubing for the legs... I'd also like to place gas struts on each leg, so it could all be raised and lowered by hand.

@Buttskevin21 working his hot snot magic.

I really appreciate the excellent work and the killer exhaust note. I was blipping and playing with the throttle the whole way home.

    Thank you!

Whoop whoop! Another thing I could do that I didn't think about, is trim the tip so its level with the ground. Might look a little nicer!

I do have a ding in my old muffler. If I get a scrape, I'll trim it back.

It is in a great spot DD-wise.
