The puddle lights are hooked to the dome light, it comes on when you unlock or open the door. There is a how to in the cheap free mods thread. There are two grounds and a constant hot to the dome. You want to tap into the one that only grounds when the door is open. No not really. I pretty much gave up. They only squeak when they are damp not wet or dry. I have to put up with it for week or two after it stops raining then it stops.

 

I got called in last night to do some emergency repairs. Got home at 1130. Then back to work for 730 this morning. I get a day off to use as I please though so I'll use it for my moving weekend. Hey OZ wanna come help me move?

Try this for your Dakars with some spray motorcycle lube on the flat parts between the leafs

Mine are now squeak free
