Just picked up a 2021 TRD Premium Sport in Wind Chill Pearl.

This truck is my daily driver to and from work. We get some snow and I snowboard, so being able to make it to work and the mountain in the winter is crucial. Won’t be doing much off-roading, other than what it takes to take the family camping around here. Got a shell on the way for my three kids to sleep in (short bed). Getting a rooftop tent for the wife and me.

Focus of this build is certainly camping, travel, and getting through 3”-12”+ of snow on occasion. Never had an issue on stock tires in my 2017 SR5, so I don’t think I’ll be adding a lift unless I get sag in the back from the shell and tent. Mainly tires, maybe wheels for the snow.

Already got some mods rolling in.

    12/5/2020:

    Installed/Done:
    • Meso Customs Gasshole
    • Meso Customs TRD Start/Start button.
    • White “Tacoma” dashboard inlay.
    • Removed Sport front spoiler.
    • Full interior and license plate LED light upgrade.
    • Rubber Tacoma bed mat.
    • Yakima Bed Rock system with Yakima bars.
    • Yakima Frontloader for bikes.
    • Yakima snowboard clamps.
    • Center console organizer and tray.
    • Meso Customs chrome delete kit in white.
    • Meso Customs Dual Control Rings in white.
    • Meso Customs White Toyota logo for steering wheel.
    • Prinsu Cab Roof Rack

    Ordered:
    • ARE CX HD shell with ARE frame aero bars.

    Planned:
    • Roofnest Sparrow Rooftop Tent
    • White Meso Customs Rings for vents.
    • Bed stiffeners.
    • Tire upgrade. May order wheels to switch between winter aggressive tire and summer stock tire.
    • Exhaust
    • Frame rust prevention treatment. (Anyone know someone who does this around Boone, NC?)
    • Some type of Molle in the bed for keeping gear when camping.
    • Front bumper w/ winch.
    • Fun gear shift knob mod.
    • Yellow/Amber fog lights.
    • More lights?

Added the Prinsu Double Cab rack today!
Install went well, minus stripping one of the hex screws before I decided to hand tighten instead of use the drill.

I cut sections in the weather stripping rather than doing the nice little holes. Sealed the inserts and spacers with Lexel.

Left some room over the moonroof so it wasn’t covered by a crossbar.

    Here are some pics!

    Congrats man!!!!
Truck looks good. I passed this color up for Voodoo Blue. My truck hasn't got here yet, but please feel free to follow my build thread when I start it.

Great looking truck! Did you get your camper shell installed? How did they do with the color matching? Any pics of the truck with the shell?

Awesome! I just picked up a 2022 SR and am looking to do some similar stuff to mine. Can't wait to see what more you do with it.
