Holy hell! I suspected there would be a lot of slides But those big boulders and chunks of sandstone would ruin your day. Great pics and glad you weren't in the wrong place a the wrong time. the rest of the pics in that link are amazing too, Wow! Thank you.

My 2010 is stock... not quite 4 months old when we came down the drop-off, through the gulch, and up Sandstone where the Jeep group ahead of us was taking a break... and they were amazed that not only did I drive through there, but that there wasn't one mark or dent on my Tacoma! All their vehicles were lifted and modified. Oh what a feeling!!!

That's a great place and just enough low range rocks to make if fun.

David, thanks for sharing your pics. Anza-Borrego is one of my most favorite places; I go there a dozen times or more per year.

I can't believe someone molested the Hollywood and Vine signpost! Geeze!!!

Those pics of the rock slides are impressive.

    The pleasure is mine Crom!

An amigo from the Baja Nomad Forums (where I post a lot) was a ranger some years ago out there... and he was just there for a few weks in March and said the historic street sign was fine then, so some idiots recently pulled it out from where it has been since 1950. He sent a letter to the park people or someone about my photo of it pulled out.
