No, it's when viewed from the rear or front in Orthographic terms. It's a lean biased towards the driver's side. The steering column, battery, and the fuel tank all create the sag. Get's worse when you're in it and you've got 250lbs of muscles or excess yellow stuff.

Learned something new! I've never lifted anything so I'm new to all of this, but I gather that either of these kits is adjustable for the user to determine rake

The lowest setting on the 6112 won't give your the rake if you keep the rear at stock height. It will kinda level it, but some still say it's raked forward. When I get the rear lifted up a bit, I'll have to play with the front as the front lowest setting won't work for me. I'm stock rear and lowest setting front. Talk about a plush ride over stock.

Is Bilstein the only suspension system that experiences the taco lean or do all suspensions suffer from that?

As far as I've researched, all. Including factory stuff. Someone had mentioned left and right coils up front have different part numbers for the 3rd gen, but mine still has the lean before and after. Unless you get a true threaded body coil over, fine height adjustment isn't available, so the spacer is needed for the preset spring perches.

Here's the included bilstein brake hose spacer for those curious. Anodized black aluminum piece.
Under the bracket with the two hoses.
It comes with an extended 13mm hex head in place of the factory 12mm head. I did replace mine with extended 12mm head bolt found at work. Keeps the tool sizes common.

Taco lean= drivers side lower than pass side. Due to excess weight and driver all on left

They did do left and right side coils. Not sure exactly the "weight" difference, but they were the same height. Only difference was the paint markingsdownloadfile.jpg

Hey guys I need help. In the middle of my install. Once I undo the 3 nuts on the tower and the 19mm on the bottom. Does the whole coil over just drop out or do I need to disassemble the uca? Please advise

I didnt have room without disconnecting the ball joint and loosening the lca, then i could pry lca down and had room to sneak the shock assembly out. Dont forget about disconnecting brake line bracket on uca too

I had to remove the sway bar and disconnect the ball joint, then I had enough room to finagle everything out. Putting the assembled 6112's into place took 2 people. My son had to hold down and move things around a bit.

You'll have to loosen the 22mm bolt heads where the camber/ caster eccentric cams are, where LCA is attached to frame. Frees up the control arm bushing and allows the whole thing to pivot down. Don't forget to do a suspension preload after reassembly with all the vehicle weight settled before torquing to factory specified values on this big eccentric bolts!

Tip: use a floor jack to help yourself lower and raise the LCA (with outer two balljoint pivot bolts) detached with the lower damper bolt loosened. I also marked all bolts/ cams relative to prior disassembly position and components with a paint marker to get aligning close before sending off to alignment.
I did this at work after hours. Only needed to play with toe as camber and caster were not affected and in spec.
I'll have to get it back onto the rack again later once I get all the other parts installed.

There was a new NSX on this rack prior to me aligning the taco. Those were some big rims on that thing. Took awhile to crank the heads back down to size to fit these little wheels.

So 13.5 hours later. All done and I am pooped. Turned out I didn't have to touch the lca. I disconnected the sway bar and the uca from the hub and then the strut came right out. Had a few other hiccups along the way but I won't bore you with the details. Thanks for everyone's help. Will post pics tomorrow

    Too few to list.
Wow, at least you got it done. I usually just mark and loosen the LCA bolts so they can swing down lower. I do remove the sway bar but I never disconnect the UCA. The coil/strut just wiggles down.

Ya I didn't have a 22mm wrench to loosen the lca with. I might have to do that next time though when I raise the 6112 a few notches

I did that last night. Much easier to drop the shock that way without coil spring compressor. Can do it in less than 20 mins.

I'll probably have to do that next actually. The 1st notch on the 6112 didn't really level the truck like I thought it would. Since the autozone spring compressor is a POS I might just drop the lca. All you need is 19mm for lower ball joint and shock bolt. Then a 22mm for cam nuts? And you just loosen the cam nuts and then the lca will drop completely vertical? Is that about right?
