Bought Another Tacoma today...

Got my stickers from my buddy today, had him make me 2 Gloss black and 2 Matte Black so I could lay them on the truck to see what one I liked better. Matte Won, since I panted all the badging Matte Black too. Now Ill have him print me up a HUGE "ghost" Skull sticker for the front Hood/Fender scoop.

 

Paints Done, Tapes off, Stickers on, Handles out for paint, Rear window in, Bed liner in. Head lights on order. Got a ton done today. Tomorrow when handles are finished drying I can install them and put the panels back on.

 

where did you get the blue bulbs? I've seen people put bulbs in and they are brighter than stock. would love to do that to my 99 taco

Neo4 are the A/C bulbs.. I havent got them in yet, but thats what im told they are. So ill find out.
PC74 are cluster bulb with base
74 are cluster bulb with no base, use factory by removing the old bulb.
74SMD is the change bin bulb and shifter bulb

The site is pretty spot on when you use the vehicle finder.

Ive swaped all my stuff in my trucks, Tacoma has Green, Other Tacoma has Blue, 4Runner Has Red.

Next step is swapping the LEDs in the 05 Tacoma Cluster... Not looking forward to that

 

Put the doors handles back on, gave it a bath and parked it with the rest of the pack
Just waiting on my headlights & corners to show up and I can slap on the Grille.

After that Its time to replace the front windsheild, get it registered and work on a front/rear bumper!

I forgot if you mentioned it or not, do you need a front bumper and valance? I'm getting rid of mine this weekend and don't know what to do with it.

 

Obviously you'd have to paint the red part black, but that's easy.

Headlights With DRL leds. Ill wire them up tomorrow with the park lights. Just had em on with a 9V for now.

 

Is the side marker LED too? Sorry, what I meant to ask was, did you stick an LED in the 194 bulb socket or did it come with an LED?

 

I used LED bulbs. The LEDs on the bottum soon to be my DRLs came with the headlights. I plan on swaping out the headlight bulbs to a more white color to match, Those where just stock ones I had laying around.

 

Also with these lights i kinda knew i had to cut the grille, but I wish it had come with instructions. Also they didnt come with the best mounting parts, Im going to have to fab up a bracket. Some Zip ties where used

 

Not too bad I guess, I would've just rather paid for an OEM set with side markers and headlight separate. But that's me. Didn't you say you wanted to do a retrofit as well?

So I finaly got around to working on this guy again, I got a donated bumper with a light bar on it. So I cleaned it up and put some paint on it and tossed it on, Got some new Signal lights for it too. Shes all ready to be registered one of these days.





I really want to toss a pair of LED lights on both the 4Runner and Tacoma now...
