haha i wish! theres a box that fits this sub for 100 bucks that another member on here bought, seems to work fine for him. I'll probably just end up dropping the 100 on one.

You will be happy with that sub. I have one as well, with a pioneer amp. Built my own box as well, as someone else mentioned perfect amount of bass. Thinking bout re-building my box though, want to be able to retain plastic on the back of the seat.

I'm looking to do a stock stereo swap from my truck into a newer models stereo that has the auxillary/iPod port. Could someone please give me a lil info on what year toyota started with this application? Also, if there are any alternative means that are cheaper or easier, please let me know. Thank you

I'm looking at picking up that same sub after looking at Ronn's build thread. I think I'll get the right performance at the right price with this sub. I'll be getting a Mr. Marv sub box this week from a local guy to put this in.

My question is this. Should I go with the 4 ohm or the 2ohm? I haven't bought an amp yet, so I'll be able to go with an amp to mate with the sub no matter which configuration I go with. It will only be a mono amp solely for the sub since I'm already pushing 4 channels with an Alpine PowerPack and Alpine HU. Basically, I get to choose a sub and amp together, which should I go with?

I went with the 2ohm version because the amp i was using matched up with the power rating the sub requires. I purchased the sub and amp from sonicelectronic.com. The amp is a pioneer gm-d7500 rated at 400watts x 1 for 2ohm or 200 x 1 for 4ohm. I am also using the alpine power pack and i couldn't be more happier with the setup. Perfect amount of bass without breaking the truck/budget and sounds great.

I was looking at purchasing that same sub for my 00, reg. cab and I was going to use this box for it; http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_24456_Sonic-Sub-Box-1T10-0.7-Gray.html

Great website too. Let me know how it works out for you
